The Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) is pleased to announce recent additions to our Business Development team. Please join us in congratulating Justice Russell on her new role and welcoming Preston Brightwell to the team.

As Business Development Managers, Justice and Preston will support EDCUtah’s business recruitment and expansion efforts, working with companies exploring opportunities to locate and grow in Utah.

Justice Russell transitions to the Business Development Team

Justice joined EDCUtah in 2023 and has played an integral role in planning and executing events for EDCUtah investors, site selection consultants, and company leaders who bring corporate expansion projects to EDCUtah. Through her work, she has built strong relationships across Utah's economic development network while creating meaningful experiences that support EDCUtah's mission.

Justice holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Portland State University.

Preston Brightwell joins the Business Development Team

Preston joins EDCUtah with experience in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management. His background in building partnerships and supporting strategic initiatives will strengthen EDCUtah's business recruitment and expansion efforts.

Preston holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Utah.
