Congratulations to West Valley City! U.S.-based manufacturer KFH Industries is expanding its operations to Utah with the lease of a 55,000-square-foot facility, where it will assemble and distribute its firefighting and industrial hose products. The company plans to create up to 25 new jobs within the next five years, bringing KFH Industries closer to its customers and supporting its rapid growth in the western U.S.

EDCUtah supported Project Smoke Jumper by providing economic research on Utah’s workforce and making introductions to partners who could assist the company in establishing its operations in the state.

Jon Schreck and Phillip Eilers of Cushman & Wakefield assisted with site selection, Ogletree Deakins provided guidance on employment law, and PrincePerelson & Associates offered staffing support. Together, these partners helped the company evaluate Utah as a strategic location for growth and will further support KFH Industries’s transition to the state.

“KFH Industries’ expansion reinforces Utah’s position as a hub for general manufacturing and industrial products,” said Ryan Starks, executive director of EDCUtah. “Their growth brings quality jobs, strengthens our industrial ecosystem, and demonstrates why companies choose Utah for strategic manufacturing and distribution operations.”

KFH Industries’ move to Utah highlights the state’s strategic advantages for manufacturing and distribution. Utah’s geographic location and robust logistics infrastructure will allow the company to serve its western U.S. customers more efficiently.
